My last beauty haul was about three weeks ago, where I purchased the below items. I don't have a close-up or an open packaged picture of majority of the items as I have already used and opened it. I only have a picture of the goodies after I just got home from the shops. The items that I bought were:
- Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Éclat foundation / B50 Beige
First off, the packaging and the foundation bottle itself is gorgeous. This foundation is quite dewy so it does need to be set with powder if you have oily skin like I do. The foundation comes in 15 different shades and it can be found at stores such as Myer, David Jones, and Mecca Maxima. It has a very minor scent to the foundation, but in my opinion it is not noticeable or overwhelming. The foundation feels lightweight on the skin and it is buildable. I believe it is medium to full coverage. I don't think it is suitable for really hot conditions especially for my type of skin but other than that, I really like this foundation. This retails for $78 AUD at Myer.
- Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Radiant Touch / 3.5
Same review with the packaging, it is gorgeous for a concealer and/or highlighter. The click pen makes it very easy and convenient for use. The luminizing pen comes in 6 different shades. I personally like to use it for highlighting mostly, not for spot-concealing. I like to use it under my eyes, highest points of my cheeks and the bridge of my nose. I think it's great when paired with the Le Teint Touche Éclat foundation. This retails for $55 AUD at Myer.
- Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Colour / Medium
I really like this product, I do think it does have really long staying power and I have this product in the shade Medium. However, according to my boyfriend, the colour looks grey on my brows. I think the only downside to this product is the limited shades available - 3 shades only in Light, Medium and Dark. I had a hard time deciding which colour to purchase as there were no testers for Medium and Dark so I took a shot at going for Medium. Light is obviously way too light for my brows, and it much more suitable for those who have a light complexion or light-coloured hair. I might purchase the Dark later on. This retails for $34 AUD at Mecca Maxima.
- Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer / 10ml
I purchased the small version of the primer just to test it out. I love the consistency of the product. It feels really smooth and it is easily blendable. I've noticed that when I use the primer, at the end of the day, I seem much more oily. I'm not 100% sure if I'm oily because of this primer in particular or if it is because of other products that I'm using. But all in all, I believe it is worth a try if you do not have this product. This retails for $25 AUD at Mecca Maxima.
- Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream / 50ml
I love this hand cream. It smells so damn good, even my boyfriend likes applying it with me. It is a non-greasy hand cream with shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow. I purchased the travel size bottle, and I am definitely getting the full size after I'm done with the travel size. This retails for $5.95 AUD at Mecca Maxima.
- Eternity For Men by Calvin Klein / 100ml
This perfume is great for guys, and I do recommend purchasing this perfume for your boyfriend, male family members or friends. I got this perfume for my boyfriend and he really likes the scent. This retails for $59 AUD at Myer and $26.99 AUD at Chemist Warehouse.
Also for spending over $65 at the new Mecca Maxima store which opened at Parramatta in Sydney's west, I received a small box of make-up goodies. The small box included: Philosophy Purity Made Simple cleanser (30ml), Living Proof full thickening cream (15ml), Clinique Super Primer (7ml), and Lancome Color Design lipstick in Vintage Rose (Sheen). My favourite item from the box is the Philosophy Purity Made Simple cleanser, I love it.
